- For up to five fermenters the cooling load estimate is based on the largest fermenter listed being in crash cooling from 75F° to 35°F in 18 hours with all other fermenters in active fermentation. If you’ve entered data for 6 or more fermenters the cooling load estimate is based on the two largest fermenters listed being in crash cooling from 75°F to 35°F in 18 hours with all other fermenters in active fermentation.

- Do You Have A Two Stage Wort Cooler?
- YesNo
- Assumes dropping wort 20°F (90°F – 70°F) in about 60 minutes while all other brewing loads are serviced. Cooling faster than in 60 minutes will increase the cooling requirement.
