DESIGN UPGRADES TO TEMPERATURE CONTROL UNITS COMPLETE

Greenwood, IN., July, 2006 - Advantage Engineering, Inc., a U.S. manufacturer of industrial temperature control systems, announces the completion of the first phase of a design upgrade program for the popular series of Sentra temperature control units.

As first shown at NPE 2006, this design upgrade enhances the operator’s use of the unit and the unit’s esthetic appearance for Sentra models having 3/4 to 3 horsepower pumps and 10 - 16 KW heaters.

NEW: LARGER UNIT DIMENSIONS
The primary new designed change is an increase in unit dimensions. This larger package gives the unit added stability when moved between process applications. The larger package stabilizes the unit when customer supplied process manifolds are installed and allows for greater flexibility when custom designs are required. The new dimensions are 27” x 12.5” x 19.5 (HxWxD) for these models. The previous packages dimensions were 27” x 11” x 16” (HxWxD).

NEW: THERMOFORMED FRONT PANEL
To enhance the esthetic value of the Sentra temperature control unit, a thermoformed panel is introduced as the electrical panel cover. The panel is attached to the stainless steel cabinet and is easily removed to allow access to the electrical panel which is housed in the electrical cabinet beneath a hinged door.

The new thermoformed front panel also incorporates a recessed area to mount the control instrument. The recessed area helps to protect the control instrument from spillage and other industrial hazards. All Sentra control instruments can be fitted to the new thermoformed panel.

The new thermoformed panel also enhances the esthetic value of the Sentra unit. The black panel contrasts well with the luster of the stainless steel cabinetry. This rugged and thick ABS panel will withstand the harshest industrial environment. The panel is produced by a United States thermoforming facility.

NEW: REMOVABLE COVER PANEL
A new removable cover panel is introduced in this design upgrade. The new panel is made of stainless steel. The large radius corners of this new removable cover continue the soft rounded edges of the thermoformed front panel. This panel is easy to remove for access to the pump, heater, and cooling valve.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Sentra temperature control unit is manufactured in Greenwood, Indiana. The Sentra is favored with process operators that require precise temperature control. The Sentra is built of rugged mechanical components and industrial control instruments and packaged with an esthetic flare.

Mechanical components, such as the twin tank circulation system, control instruments, AVTTM modulating cooling valve, high flow centrifugal pump, to and from process pressure gauges and extensive standard warranties are not effected by this design upgrade.

PRICING
Pricing for the Sentra temperature control units with this design upgrade have not changed. Pricing begins at $1,375 (USD) for the SK-1035-VE with 230/3/60 or 460/3/60.
