Has the recent hot weather taxed the performance of your air-cooled chiller?  Operating efficiency of an air-cooled chiller drops off quickly when temperatures soar above 95°F and can even cause the unit to shut down if it gets too hot.  What can you do to regain chiller efficiency?

Advantage now offers an engineered packaged adiabatic pre-cooling system for its portable chillers that is easily retrofitted and will drop the incoming air temperature at the condenser by 10-15°F regaining previously lost capacity..

The system is quite simple, install the stainless steel frame work on the chiller, insert the evaporative media, fill the system with water and turn on the recirculating pump.  The pump takes water from the integral storage basin, and distributes it over the wetted media.  Hot air moving across the wetted media evaporates some of the water from the wetted media dropping the air temperature before it enters the chiller condenser coil providing vastly improved performance.  Contact your Advantage representative for more information.
